Year after year it’s important to upgrade and know where the industry of design is evolving and what we can best bring to the students table for their growth and development. We make sure that as the evolving nature of our industry we are also opening doors to recruiters, major companies like fine edge, Chandu Kaka jewelers, Marks and Spencer’s etc to name some and create a placement cell that works in favor of our students. Workshops on creating appropriate resumes, how to write cover letters, and preparing for aptitude tests which are add-ons to their regular curriculum. We strongly believe in hands-on experience and understanding the functions of every industry requirement to help students find the right job and have the right profile to apply and crack the job of their dreams. Interactions with industry experts, inhouse faculties with years of experience contributes to an overall development of the students.
Personal Grooming & Soft-Skill Training
First impressions have a lasting effect on anyone you meet. That brief moment of interaction can change one’s perspective about the person’s view, character, personality and so on. As we all know how important the first interaction is, code of conduct, body language, speaking skills are all a part of the soft-skill training which combined together create an everlasting impression. To boost these skills of our students INSD hosts workshops that improve overall confidence, self esteem and personality which will help them in the long run.
Career Development Cell
Most young aspirants find choosing a job to be a difficult endeavor, especially with the variety of possibilities available nowadays. At INSD, we make sure that the student’s career path of choice fits his or her interests and skills the best. A lot of focus is put on preparing students to work toward self-growth in order to fulfil the industry’s expanding demands in the most thorough yet competitive way possible. The cornerstone of all of our efforts for a student is individualized counselling and guidance, the development of IQ (Intelligence Quotient) and EQ (Emotional Quotient) to survive and persevere in challenging conditions, and maintaining the work-life balance to enjoy their chosen professional pathways.
Entrepreneurship Develpment Cell
Today, making start-ups practical, feasible, and sustainable is crucial to growth. Workshops, events, and interactive sessions will be offered by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell to help with set-ups, fund raising, accounting, and instilling the managerial and people skills necessary to run a successful business. Since every person in the design profession has a unique creative process, it is essential for each person to have their own business model that they can establish and manage independently in order to realise their aspirations.
